Beauty Resolutions To Keep Year-Round

As we head into this year ahead -- one in which we all hope to feel and look more stunning than ever -- I want to share with you all some of the beauty resolutions that I’m making to not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful from the inside out too! I know that reflecting over the past year (or decade, wink) has helped me to focus on what is working for my beauty routine, and what simply isn’t right for me. So here are my beauty resolutions that I’m going to be keeping all year-round. I hope they inspire you to set some resolutions of your own in 2021!

1.) Commit To More Of My Natural Glow and Less Makeup: I’ve been wearing way less makeup lately (I’m sure we can all relate this year!) and that has shown me the importance of taking great care of my skin so that I don’t need as much makeup. That’s why this year I’m committing to using moisturizer and serums to keep my skin looking dewy and pairing them with products that accentuate my natural features like a highlighter to make the most of my natural glow! So this is my year of less coverage and more skin!

2.) Wake Up and Hydrate: Radiant skin involves multiple factors, from skincare to exercise and a healthy diet. The easiest way to start the day off right is with a healthy morning ritual that makes a serious difference in your skin all day by hydrating first thing! I am starting each day off with a large glass of water and lemon. This simple habit can yield big results! Not only does it aid in digestion, prevents oxidation, which prevents our pretty little cells from breaking down too, but it also helps prevent kidney stones! So join me in waking up and drinking your lemon and water first thing in the AM.

3.) Take Daily Beauty Supplements: Going along with my new year theme of beauty resolutions to help blossom from the inside out, so I’m recommitting to my daily beauty supplement routine. This is so satisfying and it will be such a nice way to start the year off with a streamlined routine.

5.) Walk My Way To Beautiful Skin: I’m always talking about the importance of moving your body for at least 30 minutes a day, but did you know that this daily outdoor time can also help brighten your skin!? That’s right! Exercise (even low impact exercise like walking) impacts our DNA in a way that makes us look younger on a cellular level - so grab a gal pal and head for a hike!
